We provide Parametric Robot Control in three versions — Windows, macOS, and a cross-platform Developer build for all .NET platforms. For most users we recommend the most recent release below. At the moment, no stable release is available as PRC is in heavy development. The Manual Download section contains the most recent releases as well as an archive of older installers — if you require a specific version, contact us. Please refer to prc.robotsinarchitecture.org for support.

An experimental Docker image is provided at jbraumann/prcserver. Map ports 5001 to 5001 for basic functionality. Real-time interfaces may require more ports to be opened.

Release Notes
Important: On macOS, if you are using a version older than mid-April 2026, you may need to re-install your certificate if you encounter errors! This is a one-time action — leaf certificates are now generated automatically for every new version and do not need to be re-installed manually. NEW NEURA realtime control: Insert Code now works in realtime mode with custom NeuraPy calls. IMPROVEMENTS Idle efficiency: the PRC Server interface now renders the 3D viewport only when something changes. Desktop app startup time was also improved. Documentation: the online documentation was restyled to match the PRC Server design language. BUGFIXES Simulation playback: opening the same robot in several browser windows no longer causes flickering between competing timelines. Playback is now shared per robot — play, loop, and timeline position stay in sync across all windows, and any window can stop it. NEURA: targets directly above the robot base were sometimes falsely flagged as out of reach. Visuals: Improved shading in the web-UI 3D viewport
